One-on-One Peer Support
We use shared experience to create a bond that allows us to help people move forward in all aspects of life. Meetings are held in person, on the phone, in the community or in the person’s home. We use the Intentional Peer Support (IPS) method of peer support; developing relationships that are centered around connection, empathy and trust.
Holistic Paths to Wellness
We introduce people to self-directed recovery tools that can increase mastery over physical, spiritual and emotional health by offering activities that connect people to complimentary wellness approaches (like yoga, acupuncture, nutrition, aromatherapy, meditation, etc.) and empowerment seminars on topics that help people to find their voice, connect to their personal power and the power of peer support.
We offer advocacy and mentoring services that help people learn about and protect their rights with a focus on the individual’s expressed needs, desires and objectives. We also routinely refer people to obtain desired services in all systems.
Hearts Reign is a latino community peer run organization who works to promote and strengthen the values of self help, mutual support, recovery activities, and advocacy in Eagle River Valley. Hearts Reign exists to enhance mental health awareness, prevention and well being for people with mental health challenges, their caregivers and loved ones through support, education, empowerment, facilitation of resources and services with competent responsiveness to cultural, socio economic and linguistic characteristics.
Creative Community Connections
Through our collaborative community partnerships with businesses, faith-based communities, colleges and others, we encourage people to connect with local resources as a way to develop their personal interests and hobbies, deepen their social connections and cultivate diverse pathways to achieving their goals
Recognizing that volunteering is a valuable way to share experience and skills, remembering that everyone has something to offer others, we offer a range of opportunities to people looking for ways to connect with others in a meaningful way, learn new skills or practice a work experience before seeking employment.
Peer Support Line (warmline)
The Peer Support Line is a 24 hour, confidential, non-crisis phone line that is operated by people in recovery. We offer hope and non-judgmental conversation to callers who are looking for someone to talk to about a problem, a plan or a success, or who are just seeking information about community resources.
